We are also ecstatic to have not one but two Directors awarded “Lawyer of the Year” for the extraordinary accomplishments they have achieved together with their clients during the past 12 months.
The Best Lawyers awards are based on peer reviews from the profession’s top lawyers. Lawyers selected to cast votes can only vote on lawyers located in the same geographic region, and they must work in the same fields of law. This transparent survey method asks one key question “If you could not handle a case yourself, how likely are you to recommend this lawyer?”. We are delighted that our ten lawyers’ and the teams they work with have been recognised by their esteemed peers for their achievements. We also wouldn’t be able to achieve this without the support of our wonderful clients, so thank you for your ongoing support and trust. Particularly during the past 12 months, which has been incredibly challenging. We look forward to our continuing relationships over the coming year.
Lawyer of the year
On behalf of everyone at DW Fox Tucker, we would like to offer a special congratulations to Briony Hutchens and Kate Bickford on their achievement of receiving “Lawyer of the Year” within their speciality field of law. Only one lawyer is recognised as the “Lawyer of the Year” for each speciality and location.
Having already achieved so much in her career, receiving “Lawyer of the Year” in the category ‘Wealth Management / Succession Planning Practice’ is terrific recognition for Briony. Routinely recognised as a client favourite, this award demonstrates her outstanding professionalism and commitment to meeting the highest possible standards for her clients. Briony’s formidable repertoire of legal skills leads to her tackling difficult situations for a diverse range of clients, and we thank them all for the trust they place in her.
We are also very excited to be able to celebrate Kate Bickford’s achievement of being recognised for the second year running as “Lawyer of the Year”. After taking out the award last year for her work in native title law, Kate has now been recognised for her expertise in mining law. This is an exceptional honour and testament to Kate’s wide-reaching legal talent in the mining, resources and energy industries. Kate heads the firm’s Energy & Resources practice, and the past 12 months have been especially busy for her and her team. She has provided high-level legal advice to clients whose projects will be incredibly significant for South Australia. We thank all of Kate’s clients for their trust in her ability to achieve their desired outcomes.
